Urban Styles & Hip Hop
Our Urban Style Classes present different styles known under the synonym "Hip Hop": from Popping, Locking, b-boying / Breakdance, New School and Video Clip Dancing - the classes allow joyful work with choreography and powerful combinations. Demanding workouts prepare the dancers for the virtuous street techniques. Historical background given point out the fascinating history of Hip Hop to the interested dancer to explain the versatility of the genre and its special character and philosophy.
With us, Urban Styles are being taught on the basic principles of dance medicine and dance science as are all our classes. Hip Hop and all Urban Styles count among the most demanding dance techniques and dancers are more frequently injured than in other styles. Hence, it is of utmost importance that teachers and choreographers working in the field are well experienced in the given fields of dance medicine and science to provide the dancers with means of injury prevention and increase their ability to perform.
