Acrobatics

Akrobatik 1Acrobatics can be counted as being part of nearly every dance technique of our time and is included in ballet stage productions as well as in Modern and Contemporary, Urban Styles and Muscial Theatre. Hence, we teach the demanding training for children and adolescents and obligatory in vocational dance education to prepair dancers for the high demands on stage.

Safe and aligned movement as well as a muscular balance between strength and flexibility count among the basic element of acrobatics. Courage and the sure feeling for one's individual body in motion and stability are some more of the assets, dancers can train in acrobatics.

Our higher levels mostly combine the acrobatic training with other styles to double the training impact. Fundamental routines such as warming up and cooling down, aerobic endurance training, strength and resistance training, flexibility and fascia training and training for postural control make the classes attractive for all ages, genders and styles.

Acrobatics are offered in 60 or 90 minutes classes, depending on the level and age of the participants. They are part of all vocational education in our school and highly loved in recreational groups as well. Workshops with specialists in the field such as the renowned trainer of Austrias National Horse Acrobats, Melanie Entleitner, are part of our workshop and special training programmes.
