By participating in any event (course/lessons/rehearsals/competitions) or by signing a registration form from Body, Art & At the same time, the acknowledgment of the General Terms and Conditions is signed and these are thereby accepted as an integral part of every course registration/participation!

Disclaimerschluss:

The school, the teaching teachers and guest teachers assume no liability for accidents during lessons, on the way to or from lessons, or for lost clothing or valuables!

 

Children & Youth courses:

With  Consent  this  Terms and Conditions  explain  I  me  as a parent/guardian agree,  that  my  child  to  all  Graduation   as well as promotional events, competitions and other (dance) events by Body, Art and Expression in accordance with  §6  des  Federal law  about  the  Employment  from  children  and  young people  1987 - KJBG participate,  as well as  on  the  stage  occur  may.

 

Parents/guardians are liable for their children:

School inventory, teaching materials, costumes, etc., which are made available to students by the school for the duration of the lesson/rehearsal/performance, etc., must be replaced in full by the parents/students concerned in the event of damage or disappearance.

 

Courses & Instruction:

The course fees must be paid before the second course unit in October or March at the latest; Received upon transfer. Otherwise, a processing fee of €0.50 will be charged for each additional unpaid working day. If you cancel a course (due to illness or personal reasons) there will be no refund of fees! In the event of cancellation due to illness, no fee will be refunded unless the duration and severity of the illness can be credibly proven by an appropriate specialist (in accordance with the provisions of the KSchG).

The semester price for starting the course in March (if there are still free course places available) is higher than that for starting the course in October due to the absence of mandatory registration for 8 months. October course entries for children's and youth courses are always binding for 8 months.

Course registrations and vouchers are not transferable!

​

October course entries for children's and youth courses are ALWAYS binding for 8 months. Courses that are binding for 8 months (all children's and youth courses, dance mice, children's dance, commercial/show dance, acrobatics, musical, hip-hop, urban, ballet, lace, workouts, jazz, step, newstyle, modern, contemporary, monthly tickets , designated special courses), can be paid in 2 installments in the first hour in October and March of the year. Cancellation of the course after one semester is not permitted; the 2nd installment must be paid.

 

Trial lessons are possible, provided there are free course places, cost €20 and must be paid in cash before the respective lesson. When you subsequently book the course, this amount will be deducted from the course fee. Since data must also be collected for a trial lesson, these terms and conditions also apply to trial lessons.

 

For workshops or courses with registration via e-mail, course and participant contracts become legally binding upon payment of the course fee and the general terms and conditions are accepted in full. Cancellation regulations are stated in the course description. After the cancellation period has expired, cancellation/refund of money is no longer possible.

 

Children and young people must be brought to class and picked up again by their parents or legal guardians. The school bears no responsibility or costs for arrival or departure or the organization of the same! Children and young people must come to class appropriately dressed (see guidelines on the website), their hair must be combed away from their faces, and jewelry is not allowed in class.

 

Lessons missed by the course participant through their own fault can be made up within the course duration in an ongoing course (of their choice, with the exception of individual lessons and special courses).

 

In the event of a cancellation of dance lessons that have already been booked, which is not the fault of Body Art & Expression, the students or their respective legal guardians will hold the dance school harmless and harmless. Body Art & Expression will nevertheless endeavor to find an adequate replacement in the form of online hours and the lost hours will in any case be considered compensated. Body Art & Expression will further attempt to make up the missed hours - as far as possible - unless the unforeseen and unavoidable obstacle, which is not at the discretion of Body Art & Expression lies, has been omitted.

 

Mobile phones must be switched off in the school building and they are only permitted to be taken to class in discussed exceptional situations. Smoking is prohibited on the entire school grounds! We ask for peace and discipline in the cloakrooms and lounges during class times!

 

Classes will start on time. In order to avoid the risk of injury due to arriving late to class and therefore not warming up, we ask that you be absolutely punctual. It remains up to the responsible teacher to decide whether to exclude the student from class for this reason in the event of gross tardiness.

Information about the use of personal dataPersonal data/privacy policy:

By signing the course registration form, I acknowledge that my personal data (first name, last name, in some cases first and last name of the legal guardian(s), date of birth, gender, address, zip code, city, telephone number, email address, Entry date, tariff class/division, possibly function) are processed electronically and manually within the institution on a contractual basis (membership, course participant). The purposes of processing are: dance, organizational and professional administration and financial processing, participant management, sending event and course information, the booked training unit and invitations. Body, Art & Expression, headquarters 1200, Webergasse 23/Kluckygasse 10, is responsible for the processing activities described here. The provision of my data is necessary to fulfill the institution's purpose and registration procedure; if it is not provided, course participation or enrollment in the institution will not be possible. Consequently, the parties agree to the use of their above-mentioned data by Body, Art & Expression for the above-mentioned purposes beyond the legal obligation for money and payment transactions as well as transmission to Body, Art & Expression if necessary. The contracting parties are entitled to revoke their declarations of consent at any time, provided that this does not conflict with the completion of the project in question.

In accordance with Article 16 ff of the GDPR, the customer/course participant or their legal guardians have the right to correction, deletion, restriction and objection in connection with the use of their personal data and can contact Body, Art & Turn expression.

 

In addition, at the end of the course, all data (unless there are any mutual liabilities, such as payment arrears, possible legal disputes or a legal retention requirement) will be deleted at the latest within one year of leaving.

 

If the contractual partner is of the opinion that the processing of his data violates data protection law or his data protection rights have been violated, he has the option of complaining to the supervisory authority.

Information about therePassing on information to specialist or umbrella associations:

I acknowledge that if I participate in competitions (e.g. stage dance championships, student exchange projects, co-productions), it may be necessary to transmit personal data to professional or umbrella organizations in order to process these competitions. The processing purposes for umbrella organizations extend to legal, tax and administrative support for the school, the implementation of joint projects and events, the implementation of courses and further training, support and cooperation in the area of public relations and much more. I hereby agree that the data collected using this form may also be sent to cooperation and event partners such as the Association for the Coordination of Health, Art & Movement that ASDU international or other stage competition organizers may pass on. A revocation is possible at any time in writing and with effect for the future. I acknowledge that revoking my consent to the transfer of data may mean exclusion from various events, competitions and also training sessions or training courses. I also acknowledge that in the event of any revocation, restrictions on the practice of competitive or competitive sports are likely, as the transfer of data is a prerequisite for this.

Use of image/photo/video recordings:

By signing the course registration, the parents/dancers transfer to the school the (unlimited) rights to all images and film materials of their children/themselves that are used during their time at Body, Art & Expression were created during school events. By signing on the front, you agree that photo and film/video material that is taken during our events (rehearsals, classes, performances, competitions, workshops, etc.) for the purpose of the school's public relations work can be used for this purpose . This is done via live stream (transmission over the Internet at the time of recording, no storage), via the Internet (accessible by anyone worldwide at any time) and on social media (accessible by anyone worldwide at any time). I do not derive any rights (e.g. remuneration) from this consent. This declaration of consent can be sent at any time with effect for the future by email to office@bodyartandexpression.com or revocable by post. In the event of revocation, the recordings will be removed from the respective platform. If the recordings were available on the Internet, they will be removed if they are within the school's ability to dispose of them.     

 

Filming and photography at performances, in rehearsals or during lessons by parents present, etc. is prohibited!

Declaration of consent for newsletter/course information:

“Personal data” is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject). This can be private, professional, economic information, characteristics, knowledge or physiological characteristics. Personal data includes, for example, your contact details, such as your email or home address. As part of our contractual relationship with you, we process your contact details. In addition to using this data for contract processing, we would like to inform you about our institution's events, course program, offers, workshops, as well as useful and interesting information on the topics of dance, dance medicine, via your contact details (email, home address, fax, telephone number). Dance education, sport, health and a healthy lifestyle. The newsletter will be sent electronically to the email address provided. Frequency of shipping: as necessary (max. 1x/month). You can cancel your subscription at any time in writing with effect for the future by email to office@bodyartandexpression.com possible.

With this declaration of consent, you expressly and voluntarily agree to the use of your contact details for the transmission of advertising and information material. You can revoke this declaration of consent at any time, but this means we can no longer inform you about courses (course postponements, time changes, etc.).

Copyright protection:

The entire contents of the Body, Art & Expression course program, all associated documents and content therein, choreographies, productions, documents, scripts and the like are subject to copyright protection. Unauthorized reproduction, publication, copying or offering of an adapted version of the training, the course plan, website content, forms, scripts, including excerpts, photos and film material from the school without express and prior written permission will be immediately subject to legal action and penalties both civil and criminal law consequences in accordance with Section 81ff UrhG.
